New Year’s Eve party invitations with RSVPs and getting-home plans

New Year’s Eve is a party where the getting-home plan matters as much as the playlist. Send an invitation that asks who is staying over, who needs a lift and what everyone is drinking, then wake up to a shared album of the night.

What your guests are asked

The RSVP form is built for this kind of event, so you get the answers you need in one reply.

  • How are you getting home?

Guests choose a plan, such as a taxi, a lift or staying over, so nobody is left to work it out at midnight.

  • Staying overnight

Know who needs a bed or a couch before the countdown starts.

  • Non-alcoholic drinks

Guests can say they would rather have something alcohol-free, so you stock enough.

  • Arrival time

Ask when each guest expects to arrive so you can pace the food.

Start from a designed cover

Pick a cover, change the text and fonts, and every link you share previews as a rich card.

Planning tips

  • Ask about getting home at RSVP

It is easier to line up lifts and taxis at the start than to sort it out when everyone leaves at once.

  • Make it adults only if you want to

Switch off the children counter for an adults-only party, so the RSVP form matches the night you are planning.

  • Collect photos on the day

Open the shared gallery at the party and guests can add photos as they take them, ready for the morning after.

Questions

Can I make it adults only?

Yes. Mark the party as adults only and the children counter disappears from the RSVP form.

Can guests say they are staying over?

Yes. A stay-over tick-box lets you see who needs a bed, so you can plan sleeping arrangements.

Do guests need an account to reply?

No. They follow your link, answer a few questions and can edit their reply later.

How do we share photos on January 1st?

Turn on the shared gallery. Guests add their photos from their own phones and duplicates are cleaned up.

Can I see how everyone is getting home?

Yes. Turn on the getting-home question and the dashboard charts each plan. Click a slice to list the guests who chose it.
